I was excited to receive this new rangefinder, particularly after all the feedback on line. Unfortunately, it is not really working as described. This scope is replacing a VOICE Caddie that had been a fantastic, accurate, and easy to use device. Unfortunately, that one had a mishap near a dam :(. The Punters device is difficult to use, does not "lock on" efficiently, and picks up three or four different targets. Last two rounds, bad reads have cost me shots which has made me grumpy. I was intending to send it back for a refund, but I see the policy does not cover dissatisfaction with device inefficiency. I had also engraved my name in the device to prevent loss. I should have read the return policy before I did this as apparently this may also have voided warranty. I did send an email to the support team and they responded with a further question about what mode I was using. When I replied my message bounced and has continued to do so. No phone number for support so this is the last resort. I am sorry to be sharing my whinges in a public manner but frustrated is an understatement.

It is very hard to lock onto the flag stick and I find that I often have to lock onto the front of the green and the back of the green and average it out. Disappointing!

To be completely honest have been a little disappointed. Upgraded from a Temu cheapie to a punters range finder because the cheapie was so shaky and hard to lock onto the pin. While punters range finder does feel more solid, has slightly better zoom and gives haptic feedback when lasering anything. It seems almost just as hard to lock onto a pin. Yesterday used it on 3 holes, first one took 4 tries to get the pin and not the background, next hole hit the pin first time and 5th time, so bit tricky to confirm, then on the 3rd hole I shot it about 15 times could not get a hit on the pin and just gave up. Probably good for people with better experience and a steadier hand, didn’t solve my problems of getting a pin lock unfortunately.

Nice product for the money, I have a Bushnell scope as well and you can tell the difference. Plastics and finish in the punters is cheap and light weight but overall it works OK and for the money is good for a backup.

This is a good product. I'm a scratch golfer and always used a bushnell until it recently died. Great to no longer have to buy batteries and the feel and functionality of the device is excellent.

Sleek design, lightweight and ergonomically comfortable in hand. Focus, zoom and flag lock is on point. Features is on par with all the other expensive brands EXCEPT its much cheaper ..... which allows me to spend the savings on more tees, golf balls and the driving range.

I was getting bombed with ads on Facebook and thought for $200 or so I will give this range finder a try. Was delivered in reasonable time, box was nice. Included in the pack is everything you need, instructions are not very well written, but it is not hard to work out how to use the unit. I used it yesterday for the first time along side my Bushnell and the numbers were very similar so functionally it works great. When you look at the Bushnell which is 3 times the price and compare it to the Punters model, it does make the Punters model look and feel much cheaper. The plastics and build of the unit is very light, so I am a bit worried that in the rough and tumble of transportation etc this unit may not take much to break, but only time will tell. Optics on the Bushnell are much clearer but that is not to say the Punter's optics are not good they are just not as good as the Bushnell, again you get what you pay for. I have given this unit 3 stars only because of the build quality but for the money it is worth it as it works just as well as the Bushnell.

This was the first rangefinder I have owned, so it's taken a while to get used to how it functions. After several rounds with it I think I've got the hang of it.
Last round I tested out it's accuracy for hazards on the course. Got the distance to the far side of a water hazard in the middle of the fairway, my punters rangefinder told me 182m. After teeing off from the same location, I walked to the spot I measured to, then used my Garmin watch to tell me the distance from the tee. Using GPS it came back with 182m as well. So for me I feel I can trust it to tell me the right distance.

Seems like good value but its hard to get the device to lock on to targets .. takes multiple button pushes - not just the double click shown in the 'how to' video. /anbd on thge course that takes time .. andif lock on not successful you're back to estimating ..
